Ronnie Spector at BB King Blues Club

Ronnie Spector brought her annual “Xmas Party” to BB King’s on December 13th. She performed songs from her solo career as well as classics from her days as lead singer of the Ronettes. In the drawing above she is performing on top of a gingerbread house during a frosting snow storm.

She will also be playing at Le Poisson Rouge this Sunday (Jan 11th).

Here are the Ronettes performing “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” from the essential Christmas album “A Christmas Gift To You From Phil Spector”
Don’t let the title scare you. It’s an incredible CD.

Here’s “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory” from Ronnie Spector’s beautiful but too brief Joey Ramone produced EP “She Talk To Rainbows”.
